Game Art

Hello everyone, I'm here at dawn doing some sketching for our developing game "C.A.T." And this was what I came up with:

Tomorrow we have a meeting to discuss some aspects of the game and to discuss more details about art in general.
I really enjoy this style, it's great for atmosphere, but I'm curious how you're planning to use the color highlights. Are they going to be common, so that anything without color comes across as different and worth checking? Or will the colored objects draw attention to themselves first? Either way, it's a great aesthetic, and I'm excited to see how you use it to build the game's atmosphere.
Nice art! I really like the smoky qualities and the rough borders, it establishes a comfortable and slightly surreal tone for the game just from the visuals. It will be interesting to see how you utilize the difference between the art style and the seemingly depressing subject of the art in the plot.
Even though everyone has already said it, I have to as well - the art is great. I really like the dark watercolor-ish aesthetic, and it makes me hopeful for what you will end up making. Keep up the good work!

I love the art style! I think it would fix your vibe completely if you kept it like that and didn't switch to anything more modern. If you employed some little gifs between two re-drawings of an image it might give the paper style a certain life that could be interesting, especially for that cat!
Agree with others that this art style is really nice to look at. From what I've seen of the game, I think this style will work nicely with the dark/unsettling feeling you're trying to create. Can't wait to see how the art gets integrated into the story.
